All Sufficient
Your light goes forth and there is no shadow. You are the light of life John 8:12 and in You there is life, life more abundantly. As we reach to You for life, You show us Your face.
We seek Your face. You are El-Shaddai -- Our All Sufficient God.
Psalm 68:7-14
7 God, when you went forth before your people, When you marched through the wilderness... Selah. 8 The eretz trembled. The sky also poured down rain at the presence of the God of Sinai -- At the presence of God, the God of Yisra'el. 9 You, God, sent a plentiful rain. You confirmed your inheritance, when it was weary. 10 Your congregation lived therein. You, God, prepared your goodness for the poor. 11 The Lord announced the word. The ones who proclaim it are a great company. 12 "Kings of armies flee! They flee!" As I am encouraged to 'wait', and I 'wait' on the Lord which is in this very moment, looking to Him for my needs, ALL my needs, physical, material, emotional, spiritual, He IS All Sufficient, there is no other. He IS El-Shaddai, my All Sufficient Father who meets, loves, carries, nurtures, gently guides, enthusiastically encourages, supplies always; never leaves, hates, drops, abandons, pushes, forces, abuses, takes ever. The world is at our finger tips before the place of our next foot step. His abundance unfolds before us in this very moment before our eyes, not a minute too late or a minute too early.
When you are weary, He is sufficient. 'Live therein', 'dwell in it', 'remain at home', divide the spoil. Live with Him, dwell with Him, remain with Him, divide His blessings, there is victory in His name!
