December 15, 2011 Searching, Looking, Seeing without Fear

When Love prevails, deep purposeful connection (on the other side of our frenzied misguided formulas to prove something that cannot be attained), helps us slow down to Look and to See without fear (which is impossible with fear) until there is nothing left that matters but Perfect Love Itself for each other.

This was inspired from a journal sent by a dear friend and close brother, who received it from another dear friend, and I pass it on to you showing my Love and deep longing for connection within our families, with you and experience it as it spills out and fills each other until nothing is left in the world but Love. It is not a naive thought, it is real and waiting and is revealed as our hearts allow.

What a beautiful gift we are in and with each other.....we can 'experience' this when nothing else matters, nothing else is needed.

November 30: 2011 Inward Light vs Sight

My Life is not mine vs I want you to please me; I am free to go where my heart leads me vs the need to follow rigid plans; I am free to be vs conform to exhaustive performing; What I seek is not in the past, it's not tomorrow; it is in the present.

Don't follow me, I don't lead; if you lead I won't follow vs I will carry His Light you seek and follow His Light you carry; The Light is The One Who knocks, The One Who opens the door. Pay attention, Stay awake vs Sleeping Avoidance when it is time to reap; Watch for His Light, a moment by moment choice vs choosing to stay in the blinding darkness.

We are pearls; we are an incomplete strand of pearls; we are broken pieces of bread thrown on the water; bread that is cast on the water comes together as we become one with the One Who was broken for us. We meet Him in the same place where He called us. Bread is the staple of Life; Bread nourishes; Bread gives Life.

We gather together seeking answers to the meaning of Life; the answer is in the mirror, the mirror is in the Heart; Stay awake, the face you see is yours. If we are not afraid of fear, what comes upon us heals us of that fear and transform us.

Don't be afraid of each other; don't be afraid to stand together in the pain until healing comes; We are not alone; there is One Who understands pain.

His Love covers us all and continually fills us with more than enough to spill out.

November 24, 2011, Giving Thanks

As we enter this busy, actually frenzied 'retail' part of this season, my desire is to find and search our hearts and stay focused on our Living Connection with God and each other and experience being Thankful for our connection more than the need to fill our plates or the want to acquire more unnecessary things.

Our hearts are the only constant place of Peace, Truth and Love. That place if we dare venture reveals the depth of our being, our secrets, our silent inner conversations about our fear, hatred and Love and longing, where we dream and where we die. It is the secret place that reveals the healing we seek, the center of our soul that is in constant communion with our Creator, the vessel that carries His Light. When exposed and vulnerable it leads us to the most amazing place of Love and Compassion.

There is nothing more amazing in this Realm. than the center of the Heart..it is a taste of Heaven...now

Love starts with a seeking desire.

October 24th, 2011 Be Free

Over the past several months my husband Ken and I have been on an adventure and for me each segment of the journey began with kicking and screaming...'God, seriously, You're not asking us to do this, right?' And each time on day 3, I said 'Okay God, I can do this'. Wow!! I just realized it was on the 3rd Day!!

The purpose of my heart from the beginning has been to search deeply the Heart of God and not be caught up in distractions...but I guess I had to know that somewhere along the way I would be distracted...and I do mean distracted. But in the distraction came surrender to the unfolding process of this Call.

And the most beautiful part of it all, the redemption process of finding who I am, now allows me to encourage others in their struggles. In our tests we are being reminded and when ready 'see' that we don't need to conform, but need to surrender and die to any principles that cater to illusions of the world, we experience Full Freedom.

God quickly reminded me 'You belong to no one but Me' and in this, all His plans for me are perfect and are to set me completely free from being enslaved, engulfed and engaged by the needs of this World.

Regardless of circumstances, great and small, nurturing and torturing, fulfilling and draining....we are always on this journey towards The Goal and if not careful about the disguising distractions that come our way in a form to entice our ego and greedy human nature...if our vision is not fixed on our purpose to follow Jesus to the Father...we will be distracted by what is 'seen' with our physical eyes and miss the constant unfolding Beauty of Faith within the 'unseen'.

Hold steadfast in your walk as trials come your way. This is not our world as it is today. We are being transformed. The metamorphosis process of the butterfly is revelation of our life process. From gorging...to the tomb...to pushing through...to fully Living.

And an added note...I don't know if a butterfly screams as it emerges from its chrysalis/tomb :-)...but I do know that labor in birth we scream as Life kicks out and emerges from the womb.

September 26, 2011, Never Forget the Birds and the Lilies

Today, I can do nothing for tomorrow. Doesn't worrying diminish our lives? Sustenance and comfort are not the same....in a battle there is no comfort. The source of sustenance is not our problem. Never Forget...the birds and the lilies...What is the value of our lives in comparison? The pursuit of abundance (things and money) blinds us to this simple beauty. Seek God and Him alone. He is our Source, there is no other. Seek and lean on Him alone. Then no matter what the circumstances....you will have peace.

May 27, 2010 Free Indeed

Our window faces East and when I wake up flecks of sun filter through the curtain. It reminds me to give thanks to God for my new day and the amazing and crazy journey that comes with each new day.

If I wait and pay attention I will hear when God drops a message in my heart.

Today this is what I heard, 'Freedom is not in fear, guilt and condemnation.'

I was thinking about this for awhile and realized that these are the three most powerful sources of bondage as they filter the way we connect or not connect to the hearts of those in our lives, including freely receiving God's Amazing Unconditional Love.

Truth is our Freedom.



We are free indeed.

May 24, 2011 Love Expressed Cannot Be Substituted

Love expressed is being deliberate and intentional with deep personal one-to-one connection. Our deep gift of communication can easily become substituted and distracted by articles, poems, quotes and even scripture (if expressed and used without a deep connection to God and one another). If purposeful these writings may enrich and open a door for deeper connectedness. Express deep inner feelings with one another and don't fear the gift of emotions which are beautiful gifts from God. Imagine what this world would be like if we would Honor and Love one another as Christ Loves us. However you want to look at it we're all on the same path to healing which is from the inside - out.

Even this can be a substitute and distraction...so with this I'm reaching out to you....I really Love you and really Care about you.

May 23, 2011 Our Amazing Daily Bread

Why is the most important part of this scripture naming God left off when quoting it or completely left out of some translations?

James 4:1 What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? 2 You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. 3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

'Thank you' to a beautiful soul and brother, who by example boldly poured out his heart 'to' God 'in front of us and invited us to join in. Those of you who know Jim, he and his amazing wife and famiily are the most beautiful examples of total surrender to God as they completely depend on Him for their daily bread. I couldn't help but think as I was reading his note that he is an example of a modern day Paul. I sent Jim a note and said I felt helpless but I do know my feeling helpless draws me even closer to asking and believing God that He will absolutely work it out for their good and we all have the honor to see how He does.

My family has moved into a season of this same surrender, believing God for all our needs and thanking Him always for our daily bread (our needs in the moment). We know that He is faithful and any direction He wants us to go we are ready. I'll keep saying it, if He says 'come', we come, if He says 'go' we will go, if He says 'stay' we will do that too. And what an awesome place to be, up against the edge of the sea waiting for God to do His amazing thing that He always does to reveal Himself. We can't see the other side of the sea but we know it is there.

I absolutely believe this scripture speaks about our interactions, responses and actions with each other as we walk together on this Road. It speaks about our surrender, our Peace that surpasses all understanding and how Our Daily Bread falls from Heaven.

Love is 'not' taking advantage or monopolizing off of those searching and desperate for God's Truth. Ken (my husband) and I have always known we could have chosen the deceptive way to fame and gain by taking advantage of those who need a fake king or prophet. Just watching this everywhere and observing the killing of God's Truth while eating each other alive is the real destruction in this world....and if the world does end, there will be absolutely no question that our work is finished here and Life continues....and if it doesn't end, there will be absolutely no question our work isn't finished here and Life continues...

May 20, 2011 In This Space

There is a space of joyful waiting and anticipation in which the attempted grasp of fear may not enter.

Our own personal distractions diminish or stiffle our 'seeing'. I'm sure distractions will never cease in this Life, but we can choose to see circumstances for what they are. Instead of focusing on outside distractions or our own busy thinking we become 'indwellers', practicing to listen for God's voice 'within' ourselves, using the 'eyes of our hearts' to pay attention. Listening to Him say over and over, 'Trust Me'.

This deep Love is nourishing us and flourishing in us and cannot be substituted by what we 'do' for each other or 'with' each other. We realize our attempts to create a perfect space of protecting each other from experiencing the pain of the world are attempts 'not' to replicate what we perceive as negative from life's experiences.

Our example of how we Love God is through our abandoned surrender to Him. Our most amazing experiences of His provision and healing have come when there was nothing left or nothing else to do but 'stand'. It is in this 'space', the waters rise up to make a way where there seems to be no other way. Our patience to 'stand' in it as everything seems to fall apart will soon bring revelation that He has been with us from the beginning,

When we have the plan for how God will do His Work, the 'edge of the sea experience' is buried in an attempt to protect ourselves and others. When times are difficult (and they are always) and it feels like we are going to fall apart, it is not because we have done something wrong, but instead it is the space that opens the Eyes of our Hearts. This is space of our dying to reveal Life, this is our metamorphosis.

Regardless of the place, 'the space' for His Holy Spirit to move 'in' us, and 'reveal' His plan, is in the 'space' up against the edge of the sea, with no evidence of how to get to the other side. That space of not seeing with our eyes but knowing with our hearts that if He says 'Trust Me', He will carry us to the other side either kicking and screaming inside a big fish, or have us build a boat or He'll lift up the water so there is dry land to cross. And we don't need to test the water to know it's wet because we'll arrive on the other side dry, maybe stinking like a fish but dry.

March 29, 2011 Surrendering Only To Love

One of the most difficult 'human' expressions to let flow freely and unconditionally is Love. Because in our human perception we use words, circumstances and obstacles as filters to determine the 'giving and receiving of Love'. But I know now, if the expression of 'it' is conditional it is not Love at all. There is only One Love, One Great Love, the First and Greatest Commandment to Love God with all our Heart, Mind and Soul (completeness), THEN after this commandment the next in order is Love your neighbor as yourself (that is everyone).

Over the past 25+ years (actually a lifetime) the journey and healing and awareness to Love God, myself and my neighbor has often been intercepted by life's circumstances as hurricane force winds. Of course storms continue to try and distract me and try to pull me away from the center but with practice I see the wind for what it is. With over 500 previous blog entries and a break of almost a year I am beginning again and will enter the feelings of my heart on the topic of Love. The choice of words I choose will express my deeper relationship with only the One Who has called me to Love with His Love. I've always understood this and it only comes with complete surrender. And that surrender had revealed itself in the form of a continued prayer and accepting all that is associated with this prayer no matter the outcome. "Lord Your will be done, no matter what You want me to do I will do it." The conscious resistance of this prayer in the past had been my rebellion and loss, my own need to control my circumstances because of fear that God may ask me to do something I don't want to do or put me in a situation I can't handle. But once again I have returned to the freedom to Live and be ready in a moments notice to serve where He reveals for me to be and with whom He reveals (sometimes it is blatantly loud, sometimes it is in the stillness I hear the assignment).

Today and together with my husband Ken, we wait day by day on Him for each assignment and are free to leave or go in a moments notice wherever He says He wants us. Our desire (but that is totally up to His direction) is to serve in our community from our home as a hospitality home, with meals and a temporary place for individuals and families to stay. Living completely in Faith for God to supply our needs, we life coach and give of ourselves and live Love for all who seek. We answer only to the One Who has called us.

We live like the lilies and the sparrows and know now what appears to be need sometimes is not need at all. This is our experience.

I will begin to write again. It may not be everyday, but the topic will always be about Love.
