We have our space wherever we go. Even though it has been said, we can't be in two places at one time, we certainly try don't we? Why do we compete for other space? The earth has room for everyone in it at any given time. Think about it, it's what causes families to break up, marriages to break up, government and economic collapse and wars. Space, who's space it is anyway? From the beginning of creation quarrels have been from competing for space. Even the angels wanted God's space.
Where you are right now, are you content with your space? Or are you competing with someone to take theirs? Do you envy someone because of theirs? Or jealous that someone is going to take yours?
What unbelievable peace there is when we respect each other's space, just where they are without trying to take from or change or control anyone. Just respect, love and in awe of our brother or sister. Because when we go beyond the respecting and loving the person, what is left are 'things' and competing for things, isn't that coveting?
