How amazing we are!! Really amazing!! We are beautiful, wonderfully made, living, breathing, mechanisms, organisms, physical power houses of everything we need for life, to live and have life more abundantly. Even after we have abused, damaged, neglected our bodies, an amazing rejuvenating function brings continuous new life.
I would watch runners and joggers and walkers start from completely sedentary lives and finish a marathon after 6 month of training. I cannot forget the awesomeness of seeing healing of all kinds of bodies, obese, out of breath, almost unable to walk a single block, finish 26.2 miles in less than 6 hours of walking or jogging. Then there were the elite runners, in amazement my eyes would tear watching them as they flew by with an unbelievable agility, speed and totally anaerobic or 'without oxygen' finishing the same marathon in almost 2 hours.
Our body is an incredible functioning machine totally depending on God for our next breath. The the function of a single cell, one of the 10 trillion cells, every breath, every movement, every function is involuntary completely depending on its Creator.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made, created in His image. We are glorious soul first within a magnificent body, not a magnificent body first and a glorious soul within. Without the soul this body dies and is shed off like an encapsulating chrysalis. What is happening within us regenerates, restores and brings us new life.
A beautiful symphony of an awesome creation within us.
