March 29, 2011 Surrendering Only To Love

One of the most difficult 'human' expressions to let flow freely and unconditionally is Love. Because in our human perception we use words, circumstances and obstacles as filters to determine the 'giving and receiving of Love'. But I know now, if the expression of 'it' is conditional it is not Love at all. There is only One Love, One Great Love, the First and Greatest Commandment to Love God with all our Heart, Mind and Soul (completeness), THEN after this commandment the next in order is Love your neighbor as yourself (that is everyone).

Over the past 25+ years (actually a lifetime) the journey and healing and awareness to Love God, myself and my neighbor has often been intercepted by life's circumstances as hurricane force winds. Of course storms continue to try and distract me and try to pull me away from the center but with practice I see the wind for what it is. With over 500 previous blog entries and a break of almost a year I am beginning again and will enter the feelings of my heart on the topic of Love. The choice of words I choose will express my deeper relationship with only the One Who has called me to Love with His Love. I've always understood this and it only comes with complete surrender. And that surrender had revealed itself in the form of a continued prayer and accepting all that is associated with this prayer no matter the outcome. "Lord Your will be done, no matter what You want me to do I will do it." The conscious resistance of this prayer in the past had been my rebellion and loss, my own need to control my circumstances because of fear that God may ask me to do something I don't want to do or put me in a situation I can't handle. But once again I have returned to the freedom to Live and be ready in a moments notice to serve where He reveals for me to be and with whom He reveals (sometimes it is blatantly loud, sometimes it is in the stillness I hear the assignment).

Today and together with my husband Ken, we wait day by day on Him for each assignment and are free to leave or go in a moments notice wherever He says He wants us. Our desire (but that is totally up to His direction) is to serve in our community from our home as a hospitality home, with meals and a temporary place for individuals and families to stay. Living completely in Faith for God to supply our needs, we life coach and give of ourselves and live Love for all who seek. We answer only to the One Who has called us.

We live like the lilies and the sparrows and know now what appears to be need sometimes is not need at all. This is our experience.

I will begin to write again. It may not be everyday, but the topic will always be about Love.

Notice my blog url and email, it was planned from the beginning.

April 12, 2010 Love Heals

When I write this I want to make the distinction between a formula, performance, old wives tales or superstitions in order to achieve an outcome vs. pure surrender to our Loving Father. I realize if not careful what we seek can be hidden when the needs from this world block the experience.

In John 20 Jesus said 'If you forgive anyone his(her) sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven." Deep within the 'not forgive' or 'withholding' is the blocking of the experience of the one being forgiven. But not only when we forgive are we forgiven, if we withhold forgiveness it is withheld. This is the supernatural healing process. We are unable to hear this with our minds. Again, the experience is 'within' our hearts. Jesus is clearly saying it is within us to forgive, which is Love. And as I looked through the online concordance, I was able to see 'forgiven' all in one collection. Jesus when healing others of their sin continually said, 'Your sins are forgiven' and 'invited' each one to 'go and sin no more'. It blows my mind what I am experiencing because it was not made for the mind. Jesus said in Mark 'Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up, take your mat and walk'?'

Speaking to the heart overcomes the mind, because Love is not experienced in the mind. When speaking to the mind it is not the experience of the heart. In Ephesians 3:20 it says, 'Now to Him Who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us', and this version in modern language. God can do anything, you know - far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, His Spirit deeply and gently within us." The Message. God is more than able, this encompasses everything beyond our ability to understand with the mind. It is because God is Love and His Unconditional Love heals. This Living connection through our spirit has no distance and no time. God is inviting each and everyone of us to forgive ourselves and to forgive others, because He has already forgiven you and them. This includes enemies, those who persecute us, those who hurt us.

As we Love/Forgive ourselves we Love/Forgive others. When we freely give Unconditional Love, we freely receive Unconditional Love. We are no longer bound by the darkness from this world as it 'tries' to overtake us. We know this through Love and experience Heaven on Earth/The Kingdom of God.

There is nothing greater. God is Love. Within our hearts is a cry to be forgiven, whether for real injustices or perceived. A broken heart is exposed and vulnerable and ready to receive. Don't be afraid, the journey within our hearts is beautiful. Forgiveness may begin with trembling words journeying into a vulnerable heart.

Listen to this Life Giving Gift...Love hung on the Cross. Experience the words of Jesus through this broken, mended conduit saying to you (through ears and eyes and a ready heart). Listen, receive and experience God's Amazing Unconditional Love. If we look within our own hearts and in the hearts of everyone, His Spirit is found in us all....

He is always speaking to our hearts..... 'I Love You, I Forgive You, Go and don't be disconnected from My Love anymore, Go and don't be disconnected from each other's Love anymore'

April 2, 2010 The Abundance Within

Here are some random experiences to share from my heart and say 'I love you'. Our hearts are never separated.

If we dare to have courage to find ourselves, we will find Truth was always waiting.

With Love all things are possible.

Our lives aren't lessons learned from mistakes in order to achieve man made goals but rather a sweet surrender to those things seen in order that those things unseen may manifest. In sweet surrender our minds are renewed and hearts are transformed and healed by the Holy Spirit.

As we are able to let go of our fear and rest in His unconditional Love we find that nothing else is ever needed.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

This 'experiencing' comes with the vulnerable courage to journey into our broken hearts where we will find healing.

The tangible things of this world serve our physical needs but they are meaningless in comparison to what is waiting within.

Today is set aside to remember this Infinite Love of Jesus and ponder His surrender to give His life for us that we may have His abundant life, Unconditional Love is given to us.

Love and Encourage one another through the despair, terror and pain in this life. This is why we live.

His Love Endures Forever

January 3, 2010 Contentment Again in Love

Out of honor for each other may we Love with unconditional Love, with patience and kindness. because without Love there is envy, boasting, pride, rudeness, self-seeking, hate, blame, keeping records of wrongs, but in Love we rejoice with the truth, protect, trust, hope and persevere,

What an amazing way to start a new decade of life, and how ever much time He is willing to give I cherish and honor this beautiful Life.

Only Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, only in Him do we find what we seek. He gives me 'freely' I share 'freely', it is His.

My son Jesse reminded me of a conversation we had last night in regard to resting in our Abba Father for our needs. When we are children we are not fearful of where we live, what we eat or how we are going to get where we need to be, we just live and enjoy life. This is how as adults the Father invites us to depend on Him. His Spirit is pouring out on everyone to receive His provision in His Love.

Jesse my awesome son is reading from 1 Timothy 6 and sharing with me how he has no fear or anxiety....Have we been robbed of the Truth and think that godliness is a means to finacnial gain? (I just wrote on contentment the other day....here is reminding me,...actually more than once today, the perfect example of contentment).... we brought nothing into the world and we can take nothing out of it, if we have food and clothing we will be content with that. Wanting to be rich is a trap and into ruin and destruction...for the love (and pursuit) of money (before Faith in God) is the root of all kinds of evil (fear and instability), some people eager for money have wandered from believing (we cannot serve God and money) and pierced themselves with many griefs (the stiving for money is torment).

Although many studies and many teachings may point us to our Source, our Provider, it is not the one teaching's responsibility to stay with us, just to walk for a while and point us to Him, it is our own personal responsibility to continually stay with Him when the guidance, studies and teachings are no longer available.

There is only one thing that lasts forever because it comes from our Father... we know ....

Love never fails.

December 31, 2009 Sharing Our Contentment

How awesome it is that we are all searching for Truth to experience how beautiful we are, created in God's image vs. the opposition of thought which can distract us to superficial want and the need for attention to bring self worth vs. where our hearts release control to God the only One Who is perfect in order that we may be transformed and renewed in our minds and in this surrender our eyes are opened wide to see the contrasting difference between the desire of our hearts vs. want. Once again I remember these unexplainable moments in my life when I search for understanding in the profoundness of it all and find these most amazing experiences are continuously available regardless of circumstances and strengthened in His unending, unconditional Love to supply every need, spiritual, emotional and physical, in my surrender and commitment to His perfect plan for my life. Yes, this Is Home where I am given the gift to live abundantly, Heaven within me.

I started my blog in December of 2007, today I end 2009 with the same expression and continuous focus for Love pouring in me from God, from you and receive It and the call to let It flow out and share It with you and your loved ones and pray that the desires of your heart may find that our most important need is realizing that all desire is complete.

The Living Abundant Life Love Letter...For God so Loved the World, He sent His only Son, Jesus....to believe Him and receive Him...in Him we are complete, in Him we experience the Father and His Spirit, In Him we are fulfilled and live an abundant Life. John 3:16

If we have no fear we will experience Him, we will see and hear, He is the Way, He is the Door. Receive and fill your heart with this continuous flow of Love....

My life is a beautiful run-on sentence :-)

December 11, 2009 Slowing down

I walked right passed a precious young lady and just said 'hi' because I was preoccupied to get something done. I realized what I did and turned around went straight back and said 'I love you, how are you doing? I am so sorry I walked by you without hugging your neck, I never want what I am doing to cause me to disconnect from others'.

The quickness by which we speak (and do) reflects the quickness of our thinking. I said to others several times yesterday 'my desire is to slow down'. Those of you who really know me, know that 'slowing down' seemed like such a foreign statement in my recent past but I am experiencing it now and want more. Now I must practice it 'within' myself, in my devotion time to fully experience God, when listening to others and connecting with them, when looking at the beauty all around me. I missed and will continue to miss so much when my mind is in a trap of speeding thoughts about me and what 'I' am doing.

Especially at this time of the year, I am experiencing this peace by finally being able to say, the only gift needed is to give and receive My Lord's Love with family and friends and this is exactly what I am doing.

The thoughts I share are slowing down 'within', this article shares some external methods.

Severe Anxiety: Slowing Down Racing Thoughts
By Paula J. Marolewski

Part of the terror of anxiety is the force and power of the racing thoughts that accompany it. Adrenaline reaches a fever pitch, sending the body into pure fight or flight mode.

Two things are essential at this point: to slow down, and to focus on something outside of yourself. To slow down, because your mind and body are running at breakneck speed; and to focus on something external, because the whole power of anxiety is that it wraps you up inside yourself and turns your mind into a prison cell.

Here are four practical steps to take to begin to slow down and shift focus:

Reach out. It is natural to retreat from others during the peak of anxiety: while you hate your racing thoughts, they are all-consuming. However, retreat is actually the worst thing you can do, because it makes it even easier to focus on your thoughts. This is the time you need to reach out to your support group. Call one of your friends or family members and tell them the substance of your racing thoughts. Be detailed. Get it all out on the table. Since you speak slower than you think, your mind will slow down as you verbalize your thoughts and fears.

Change locations. If possible, move to a different location: if you are in the house, get out. If you are at work, take a break and walk around. Physically changing location can assist you in mentally changing direction.

Work out. The problem with anxiety is that it tends to breed apathy: you want to sit and chew your fingernails, figuratively speaking. It will often take an act of will to physically get up and get moving, but it is worth it. Physical exercise releases endorphins into your body and brain, which can help you to feel better. Additionally, working out can distract you and therefore break the thought cycles in your mind. A competitive sport may be especially beneficial (i.e., racquetball rather than jogging), since it requires your mental attention in addition to your physical attention.

Be creative. Engage in an activity that will take up brain and thought space. You can’t think about two things at once, so you want to try to shift your thoughts toward something positive and pleasant. As mentioned above, sports can fill that role. Hobbies are another primary source of creativity. Volunteer work may do the trick. Your job may draw upon your creativity. Whatever it is, try to give it 100% of your attention

December 7, 2009 Living in the contrast

It is interesting what comes to my heart as I sit looking out through the sun room windows of our new/old home, thinking that it felt like we left Egypt, and now that we have arrived many thoughts flood my mind and my heart. It's all in the view...because Egypt and the Promise Land have no borders in this world. We choose where we live by surrender.

"An optimist is a person who sees only the lights in the picture, whereas a pessimist sees only the shadows. An idealist, however, is one who sees the light and the shadows, but in addition sees something else: the possibility of changing the picture, of making the lights prevail over the shadows." Anonymous

Living boldly through darkness, through all that is treacherous and deadly, opens a greater experience within Light. Too often our choice is to isolate ourselves and choose one over the other, that is, darkness vs. light. The fullness of the greatest Light I experience within the darkness. There is no reason to fear the darkness because in the Light, that is, Jesus' Light, darkness is illuminated. We can be in the darkness and not be overtaken by it.

Though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death (every minute of every day of our lives) we do not fear evil as we press forward through all circumstances in the guiding Light of Jesus.

It is only His Light that has the 'possibility of changing the picture'.

He guides us. How else can we see? What we see with our physical eyes is only a microcosm and depiction of the reality that is infinitely available to us in this world.
