What begins life and ends with life, holds joy in the midst to pain, and perseverance in the midst of trials?
What sees every face encountered as a person worthwhile and a beautiful creation?
What travels miles and miles to comfort and makes decisions to leave important pursuits to hold a hand?
What takes the impossible and makes it possible, opens doors, picks up one who has fallen, carries someone who cannot walk, guide someone who cannot see?
What has a single beat that vibrates the earth to its core and raises glorious song in the heavens?
What gives us strength and holds us steadfast, keeps our feet planted in the face of adversity and rejection and threats and is like a soothing balm when hate comes straight at us to destroy us?
What is our shield, our lamp, our source, our rear guard, our path, our purpose?
