Your Glory
Let Your glory shine over all the earth that we may see You, that we may understand, and be changed forever.
Isaiah 58:6 Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? 7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter-- when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? 8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
Isaiah 58 is my most read scripture. It became apparent that all through His Word he calls us to go out and take care of His sheep. Feed the hungry, clothe the naked, find shelter for the homeless and not to turn your back on them.
It is for each of us to answer this call. And a gift comes...Your light will break forth like the dawn and your healing will quickly appear. Your righteousness will go before you. And the Lord will be your rear guard.
Let His glory fall on you, let His glory cover you, let His glory go before you and be your rear guard.
